Dan Brown's (in)famous The Da Vinci Code

I wouldn't like to use this website to promote my own writings, but the evil done by Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code merits an exception. Rather than reveal any truth about Catholicism, The Da Vinci Code just reflects and reinforces the prejudices of modern culture towards this type of Christianity. For a comparative analysis of the structure of Dan Brown's and Catholicism's thinking on sexuality, in which Dan Brown emerges a clear loser, see Candel Bormann, Daniel. “Ein Bild hielt uns gefangen: The Da Vinci Code and the Humanae VitaeNeophilologus. 2007: 91.3: 333-50.
